A T H L E T I C S
Hello, my name is Coach Reynaud and I’m currently the Physical Education and Health teacher for St. Patrick’s Cathedral School. The ultimate aim of my program is to provide students with the skills necessary to live healthy active lifestyles. Regular involvement in P.E has been proven to increase trust performance, raise self-esteem and provide a positive impact on the social and emotional well-being of an individual.
My program is a well-organized, sequential program that will allow the student to develop the skills necessary to build upon in subsequent years. Students will progress in a variety of units such as Fitness, Individual Sports, Team Sports, and Dance. Emphasis is on the skills necessary to participate in team sports including kin esthetic and traditional sports as we'll. These skills are presented through cooperative activities which foster the students’ ability to be a positive member off a team and most importantly a productive member of society.
My goal is to create an array of enjoyable, challenging, and meaningful activities that will provide the building blocks necessary to prepare them for a successful and bright future
